I was born in 1955 and grew up in the seaside town of Mordialloc. I have been a practising artist for nearly 50 years. Painting is my preferred medium, though occasionally I make prints and sculptures. I graduated from RMIT with honours in Fine Arts in 1999 and from Monash University in 2004 with a Masters of Fine Art by Research.

I’ve had 20 solo exhibitions and exhibited in numerous group shows throughout Australia and my work is held in regional allery and University collections.

As well as being an artist I have been a jockey, a track-work rider, a bricklayer, a taxi driver, an art teacher, a petrol station attendant and ran a part-time lawn mowing service.

I currently reside in Ballarat.
